Lecture to Quiz

Terms of Service and Refund Policy

Last updated 7 October 2026

Lecture to Quiz ("the service") is run by Grant Mwakyembe, a computer science student at Deakin University, as an individual based in Australia. By using it you agree to these terms. Contact: lecturetoquiz.help@gmail.com.

Who can use it

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or buy a plan. By signing in you confirm that you are 18 or older.

What the service does

You upload lecture material (PDF, Markdown or a YouTube link). The service uses AI to create flashcards and coding exercises, and gives hints on your code. AI output can be wrong: check important facts against your course material. This is an independent project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or run on behalf of Deakin University or any other institution.

Academic integrity

Lecture to Quiz is a study aid for practising and revising. It is not for producing work you submit for assessment.

Plans and payment

Refunds

If you're not happy, email us within 14 days of a payment and we'll refund it, no questions asked. After that, payments are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law or other consumer protection laws that apply to you.

Availability

The service runs on free and low-cost hosting and depends on third-party AI and code-execution services. It may sometimes be slow or unavailable. We don't guarantee uninterrupted access. If the service is shut down, we'll give notice and refund unused time on paid plans.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, the service is provided "as is" and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 3 months before the claim.
